Education

The Cradle of Forestry offers two main categories of Conservation Education.

The first, Educators, is designed to "teach the teachers". K through 12 teachers, homeschool parents, Scout and other youth leaders can find descriptions of group program options, lesson plans, interesting facts and general guidance on teaching Forest Conservation. 

The second, Education Program, is intended for the general public, landowners and other professionals and students, interested in Forest Conservation Education.

Anyone interested in visiting the Historic Site for group programs can find information about activities and programs that will engage students in the site and help educators meet their curriculum goals.
